Katy Dammers

Katy Dammers (she/her) supports the visual and performing arts field as a curator, producer, and writer committed to integrity, equity, and care. Over the past decade she has worked in the United States at The Kitchen, FringeArts, and Jacob’s Pillow. Dammers also works independently with artists as a creative administrator, and has been the General Manager for choreographers Rashaun Mitchell + Silas Riener since 2014. A writing fellow at the National Center for Choreography in 2018, her essays about dance have been published in The Brooklyn Rail, Movement Research Performance Journal, In Dance, and On the Boards, among others. Dammers is currently based in London, where she is pursuing an MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths and is part of Inland Academy. Simultaneously she is continuing work with Jacob’s Pillow remotely as a producer of new work and project manager for the creation of a New Theatre.
