Eco Afro Futures 2024 is a free and public summit connecting the public to Black environmental scientists, environmental justice organizers, green entrepreneurs, environmental educators, and other community leaders to activate Black environmental knowledge, explore questions about the future, develop shared strategy, and experience collective joy. Drawing upon the aesthetics of Afrofuturism and organizing principles of Freedom Schools, Eco Afro Futures is a Black History Month mobilization of Black culture towards just, for sustainable futures.
