Join Usal for an interactive outdoors workshop and lecture where participants will learn about the identification and medicinal or nutritional benefits of various weedy plants that grow in abundance around us, including in urban spaces. The workshop will start with a lecture on how to identify weedy or invasive edible plants, as well as their various benefits and uses. It will then move into a cooking workshop where we make a pesto, a green soup, and an herby ricotta stuffed nasturtium flowers featuring the plants that are introduced.
