Ethan DeLorenzo is a permaculture farmer, wild forager and multi disciplinary artist. Ethan spent the last 7 years living in an intentional community on Vashon Island, WA. He spent his time learning to farm, forage and live in community with others. When the pandemic hit, much of his focus leaned on orchard rehabilitation and wild mushroom cultivation. He spent the last few years wild foraging, making mushroom tinctures and supplying local restaurants with wild ingredients.
Join Usal community’s own Ethan DeLorenzo (permaculture farmer and edible plant wizard) as he empowers our relationship with the edible and medicinal plants that grow all around us.
In this workshop, look to deepen your awareness to the natural world by learning about and foraging for the lush variety of plants that inhabit the west LA region of Temescal Canyon. Enjoy a slow-paced hike to uncover and forage for edible plants. This class will also provide information on how to prepare local wild plants to access the health benefits they possess.
