Noticing is not just a series of group walks, but an exchange with the city we call home.
Each walk is loosely focused on one theme and encourages attendees to develop a deeper awareness of their surroundings, learn about local history, and even make new friends. Be prepared to look around, pay attention, and discuss your findings.
This walk will be dedicated to exploring the public green spaces and building lobbies (and more) of Midtown Manhattan. This walk is an ode to one of New York’s most misunderstood neighborhoods.
What to Bring
Cameras, field recorders, notebooks, pencils, portable scanners, etc. are encouraged, but not required. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and bring plenty of water!
