Natural Dyes: Summer Solstice – Indigo Dyeing

Join Greenpoint Library to celebrate the summer solstice and explore indigo dying from its history, creating the vat, dying techniques and the science of this plant based permanent dye. We will create shibori resisted patterns, which are the origin of our modern tie-dye techniques.
