Maiya works as a junior art director in Tokyo at Ogilvy and Mather Japan, creating commercials and other ad media for globally renowned clients. She studied graphic design in the Bay Area, and continues to experiment with all forms of design outside of her 9-5. She continues to research and explore alternative nourishment methods after designing FEED, with the hope that 3D printing food will one day become the norm in every household.
