Here, Andy Spade, Co-founder of Partners & Spade and Sleepy Jones, shares his morning ritual, travel preferences and go-to breakfast recipe.

MOLD: Describe your morning ritual.
Andy Spade: I wake up at 6:30AM and take my daughter to school. I usually shower, make breakfast, have coffee then go!
What do you have for breakfast?
I usually have an apple for breakfast
How long is your morning routine? Do you have the shave/shower/get-dressed routine down pat, or does it change depending on your day?
15 minutes to shower, shave and dress.

Do you live in the city? What’s your commute like? When are you in the office by?
I live in Manhattan on the Upper East Side. I take a subway or taxi to work in NoHo.
Can you describe a typical day? Do you like meetings or hate them?
I don’t like meetings. I move around a lot from the Partners & Spade office to Sleepy Jones to my daughter’s school.
What time is lunch? What do you like to have?
Lunch around 1. Usually a sandwich.
When do you typically call it a day? Do you head home from there, to a dinner, to the gym…?
I run in the morning so my day ends at 5:30PM for family dinner.
How do you unwind? Do you like to have a drink? Read? Watch a movie?
Watch a movie or family shows like Bob’s Burgers.

Do you like to cook? What’s your go-to recipe?
Eggs & Bacon
Are you typically pretty health-conscious? Drink you 8 glasses of water and avoid grains and all that, or do you eat what you like, when you like?
I try to drink a lot of water and eat well.
Any other rituals, or habits you keep up every day you’d care to mention?
It changes even though I like a routine. It depends on my schedule, really!
