How can the kitchen of the future better serve home cooks and professional chefs? Valcucine and dotdotdot design studio are looking for designers to submit ideas for an upcoming six-day workshop taking place in Milan ahead of the annual Salone Milan Design Week, April 8-13.
The purpose is to meet to take part in a shared and collaborative project regarding the kitchen. A brain-storming marathon, an incubator of ideas to give birth to new projects and solutions that develop or modify the various aspects of the kitchen concept, through its accessories, by working on its structure or by means of digital add-on and physical computing projects.
Kitchen Becomes Open will take a look at the Meccanica kitchen system produced by demode and engineered by Valcucine. The result of the innovation workshop will be a series of prototypes on display during Salone Milan at the Valcucine showroom in Brera. The deadline for submissions is March 19th. Submit your ideas today.
