Beef lovers rejoice! That beautiful marbling serious steak connoisseurs seek out finally sees the spotlight. Designer Tomomi Tokuyasu created a series of five textile patterns based on different cuts of beef. The project, Cuts of Beef, was inspired by the marbling “patterns” Tokuyasu encountered in the supermarket. Selecting five different cuts, Tokuyasu printed on cotton cloth and created a series of soft sculptures for her senior thesis presentation at Musashino Art University.
